The NAFTC is pleased to announce the addition of the Community College of Southern Nevada as a National Training Center. This brings the total number of National Training Centers to twenty-five!
The Community College of Southern Nevada offers a broad range of instructional programs, ranging from educating entry-level students to advancing the skills of current technicians. The automotive facility provides state-of-the-art work areas with indoor lab space exceeding 8,600 square feet and more than twelve outdoor stalls under a canopy. The indoor labs feature thirteen automotive lifts and floor space for an additional thirteen stalls and eight classrooms. The program also offers a complete tool room and a fleet of late model vehicles to teach the latest in technology.
The Community College of Southern Nevada’s automotive program is a nationally certified MASTER National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (NATEF) program. The master certification allows the instructors and graduates to provide instruction in all eight of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) areas.
They are a wonderful addition to the NAFTC. Welcome aboard Southern Nevada!
