Get Involved with Odyssey 2006!

It is not too late to get involved with National AFV Day Odyssey 2006! October 12 will be a significant day for the alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) and advanced technology vehicle industry! To date, fifty-four sites have signed on to participate in National AFV Day Odyssey 2006, and the NAFTC is continuing to recruit additional sponsors, partners, and site coordinators in an effort to build awareness and educate individuals everywhere on the importance of AFVs and advanced technology vehicles.

“Biodiesel” Makes It into Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary!

The increasing interest in and importance of biodiesel fuel has earned the word a place in the 2006 update of Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (Eleventh edition). The term is becoming widely used as the result of its increasing acceptance as an alternative fuel for diesel engines.
