On October 1, 2004, the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) moved to a new headquarters building located at Ridgeview Business Park in Morgantown, WV. With approximately 11,800 square feet of space, the facility houses the NAFTC’s offices, classrooms and automotive laboratory.

The building features a 5-bay automotive shop that includes a dynamometer bay, a lift bay, and three automotive bays. The state-of-the-art automotive training lab includes space used for student learning activities, as well as diagrams/displays for alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicle instruction. Various hands-on training equipment, such as a natural gas slow-fill refueling station and a biodiesel production reactor, add to the real-world training experience received at the NAFTC.
