| Dear NAFTC Member:
This summer has truly been exciting and event-filled for the NAFTC HQ and from the reports we have gotten from several of you, it sounds like your alternative fuel activities have been equally as busy. We have received great feedback from the Clean Air and Energy Independence Conference recently held in Asheville, NC. If you were unable to attend, you missed a great opportunity. Attendees were treated to a great slate of presenters as well as an option to attend two pre-conference workshops.
In response to numerous requests we have scheduled two trainings to be held during August at the NAFTC HQ in Morgantown, WV.
A Basic Understanding of Battery-Electric and Hybrid-Electric Vehicles
(includes Train-The-Trainer component for NAFTC members)
- August 12 - 13
- Special Member Price - $575
- Regular Non-Member Price - $650
First Responder Safety Training:
Hybrid Electric Vehicles Train-The-Trainer Course
- August 14 - 15
- Special Member Price - $500
- Regular Non-Member Price - $575
Register for both classes for $999 and save $76!
I think you'll agree this is a great value for almost a full week of high-quality training. As a member, let me remind you that by taking these, or any other NAFTC train-the-trainer course, you will be enabled to offer the end-user course at your school and in your area.
We understand we are scheduling these classes on short notice but are scheduling them because of a number of requests. Please call before July 25, 2008 to express interest in attending and to confirm that we will have an adequate number of attendees to hold the classes. We will allow more lead time in scheduling classes in the future.

Sincerely,
Al Ebron
