PLEASE NOTE: Sucessful completion of this NAFTC course does not guarantee that the participant will successfully pass the CSA Fuel Systems Inspector Examination. Therefore, it is important for the participant to prepare prior to enrolling in the course. During registration the participant will be made aware and directed to resources that will help in the preparation for the CSA examination.
Please Note: According to the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), reference Certification Standard 9.3 Technical Updating, faculty members must attend a minimum of 20 hours of technical update training each year. In addition, NATEF requires that the 20 hours of training must be recognized by the industry and relevant to the areas in which the individual is certified. NATEF also requires individuals that attend the updated training classes to provide a documented description of the training program via a brochure, flyer, training manual, written training plan, or information from the internet. Further, NATEF requires the individual or sponsoring training agency to provide a Certificate of Completion. The NAFTC training courses meet all of the above mentioned requirements. In fact, all NAFTC training counts towards the annual 20 hour professional development requirement by the NATEF. Therefore, NATEF recognizes the NAFTC - sponsored training courses as “technical updates.” Each hour of NAFTC training equals NATEF’s definition of one hour of professional development.
