This one-day course is an introduction to hydrogen, its production, storage, and its applications in either fuel-cell powered or internal combustion engines. - Describe the properties of hydrogen as an energy carrier
- Explain the issues of hydrogen production, transport, and storage
- Examine the current level of onboard hydrogen storage and reforming technology
- Explain how hydrogen can be used as a fuel for both internal combustion engines and fuel cells
- Identify the components of a hydrogen-fueled vehicle
- List the safety procedures needed to work with hydrogen in both domestic and shop environments
- Discuss the future of hydrogen as a viable fuel.
