Workshop Description
An Introduction to Hybrid Electric Vehicles

A hybrid vehicle uses two or more sources of motive power. Most hybrids available today combine an internal combustion engine (usually gasoline-powered) with one or more electric motor/generators. Of special interest to purchasers, technicians, and first responders is the high-voltage electrical system in a hybrid vehicle. This workshop examines several configurations, technical approaches, safety, and operational considerations.
