Located just seven blocks southeast of Staples Center in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the Abram Friedman Occupational Center (AFOC) prepares students for careers in the skilled trades through academic and hands-on training. AFOC’s automotive technology program offers classes from auto body repair to engine performance, including California’s Advanced and Basic Clear Air Car course, which it has offered for 25 years.
