Salt Lake Community College’s (SLCC’s) automotive technologies program is designed to train students in both domestic and import vehicle diagnosis and repairs, and prepare them to enter into the job market as technicians skilled in all facets of automotive repair.
SLCC’s automotive program is located in two locations on the Larry H. Miller Campus in Sandy, UT:
- Electrical and engine repair training is located in the Miller Free Enterprise Center, which also houses a NAPA auto parts center.
- Engine performance, transmission, heating and air conditioning training is located in the Miller Automotive Training Center.
The Miller Campus was donated to Salt Lake Community College by Larry H. Miller, owner of the Utah Jazz, the Salt Lake Bees and a number of automotive related businesses throughout the Intermountain West.
