Hydrogen is an alternative fuel that can help ensure our nation’s energy security and environmental quality. However, there are many problems that must be overcome before the H2 economy can become a reality. This one-day course is an introduction to hydrogen, its production, storage, and its applications in either fuel-cell powered or internal combustion engines. Learn the many advantages as well as the drawbacks of hydrogen as a transportation fuel.

- Explain the issues of hydrogen production, transport, and
storage.
- Examine the current level of onboard hydrogen storage and
reforming technology.

combustion engines and fuel cells.
