NAFTC Hosts Miles Automotive Group Training at NAFTC Headquarters

The NAFTC was pleased to welcome dealers to a comprehensive Miles Automotive training course. Held at the NAFTC's national headquarters in Morgantown, West Virginia, the training course was conducted by NAFTC National Instructor Scott Martin with assistance from NAFTC Graduate Assistant Matt DeLiso. The training spanned two days and was complete with both in-class training and hands-on instruction and demonstration.

The NAFTC was contracted by Miles Automotive Group to develop the training course and to conduct the training. Every dealership planning to sell vehicles made by the Miles Automotive Group must attend this specialized training in order to service the vehicles.

Participants in the Miles training course included dealership managers and technicians from up and down the East Coast and as far away as Texas. The NAFTC was also very pleased to have two members of the U.S. military from the USAF Charleston Air Force Base in Charleston, South Carolina, in attendance.

In a related story, Miles Automotive Group has announced plans to partner with college student organizations nationwide to promote existing 100 percent all-electric vehicle technology. The partnership is part of the "No Gas Required Campaign," and Miles will make its emissions-free vehicles available for student-organized events that focus on the environment. In addition, Miles has promised a $500 U.S. grant for every Miles vehicle purchased by a college or university fleet to help further promote other environmentally friendly efforts and products on campus.
