OCC Hosts Automotive Technology Department Open House

In mid-March, the Automotive Technology Department at Onondaga Community College held an open house, with a tour of the department's automotive facilities given to all who were interested. Open-house attendees were given the opportunity to get an up-close look at the #25 National Guard/GMAC NASCAR vehicle along with a National Guard Hummer.

The display certainly caught a lot of attention from visitors to Onondaga's Automotive Technology Department and was made possible through a chance meeting between acting Chairperson Gary Ruebsamen and SSG Sean Walsh of the New York Army National Guard. The two gentlemen met while speaking to middle-school students at the Levy Middle School Career Day.
