NAFTC Hosts First Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration in West Virginia

The NAFTC hosted the first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration in the State of West Virginia in October as part of the Consortium's fall business meeting. The Ford Focus FCV was displayed on the Evansdale Campus of West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown on October 25. A large crowd gathered to examine and learn about the vehicle which uses hydrogen through a fuel cell to produce electricity for running its motor. WVU President Mike Garrison, Interim Vice President for WVU Research and Economic Development Curt Peterson, Ford representative Mark Olance, and NAFTC Executive Director Al Ebron spoke at the event.
