Green Motor Oil Now Available

Green Earth Technologies recently introduced G-OIL, a "green," biodegradable motor oil guaranteed to protect engines as well as conventional motor oils, but without the environmental hazards or dependence on foreign oil. Able to be used in any gasoline, diesel, or hybrid engine, G-OIL was recognized by the editors of Popular Mechanics as one of the best new products of 2007. According to Green Earth Technologies, G-OIL is the first bio-based, high-endurance motor oil to provide superior performance during the maximum oil change interval recommended by vehicle manufacturers, and an estimated four gallons of foreign oil can be saved with each G-OIL five quart oil change.

Using beef fat, Green Earth scientists have developed a method in which the fat is converted from a solid raw material into biodegradable motor oil for gasoline and diesel engines as well as hybrid cars. It takes only one barrel of the fat to make one barrel of G-OIL whereas for traditional petroleum-based motor oil, it takes nearly three barrels of oil to make one barrel of product.

Green Earth Technologies has also created G-DISPOSOIL, which can be used to dispose of used G-OIL by converting the oil into soil. More information can be found at www.getg.com.
