NAFTC HQ Hosts WV BioEnergy Forum The National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia, hosted the West Virginia BioEnergy Forum on January 30. Facilitated by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, West Virginia Division of Energy, and the Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research and Innovation Center, the event is held quarterly and includes collaborative discussion and educational round-tables to promote bioenergy industries within the State. NAFTC Executive Director Al Ebron was one of the forum's featured speakers and gave a presentation titled "Advancing Biofuels in West Virginia," which also included a biodiesel production demonstration. Other presentation topics included a United States and West Virginia bioenergy market update, school bus usage of biodiesel, bioenergy crop production, commercial biodiesel production, advanced biodiesel technology, converting land in West Virginia to bioenergy crops, and anaerobic digestion.
