NAFTC Conducts Annual D.C. Business Meeting The National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) held its largest business meeting of the year on February 13-16 in Washington, D.C. NAFTC staff and representatives from NAFTC National Training Centers across the country met for Congressional education and outreach meetings, Consortium planning and strategizing, and professional development sessions. In addition, Tyler Junior College was formally recognized as an NAFTC Affiliate National Training Center, new committee chairs were elected, and past Advisory Committee members were recognized. Guest presenters at the meeting included Mark Valerio, General Motors Corporation Regional Director – Northeast Dealer Network Planning & Investment, who was accompanied by Norman Jay, General Motors Corporation Area Manager – Dealer Network Development. Also, Luke May, General Motors Corporation Northeast Regional Manager, Energy Diversity, gave a professional development training presentation.
