EVS-23: Sustainability—The Future of Transportation The International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition (EVS), the premier event for academic, government, and industry professionals involved in electric drive technologies, will take place December 2-5 in Anaheim, California. Organized in cooperation with the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), EVS-23: Sustainability—The Future of Transportation, will be the largest gathering of business, technology, policy, and academic leaders presenting their latest research in battery, hybrid, plug-in, and fuel cell electric drive technology. More than 85 exhibitors and 250 speakers will be present at the conference. Many special events are planned including a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle workshop, welcome reception, ride and drive, and gala. Also planned is a mayors' forum where mayors from several southern California cities will share their successes and challenges with implementing electric drive in their cities and how electric drive plays a role in their transportation planning. This year's event is hosted by the Electric Drive Transportation Association, a member of WEVA. The EVS series began in 1969 as an academic forum for global networking and the exchange of technical information. More information can be found at www.evs23.org. |
