NAFTC Trains and Exhibits at 65th Annual State School Transportation Conference

West Virginia's 65th Annual State School Transportation Conference was held in July at the scenic Lakeview Scanticon Conference Center in Cheat Lake, West Virginia. The conference allows transportation directors, drivers, maintenance supervisors, mechanics, administrators, and others from the State of West Virginia to come together and strengthen their professional and technical skills in order to maintain West Virginia's exceptional record of providing safe, dependable school transportation for our State's young scholars.

As part of the event, conference attendees came to the NAFTC headquarters training lab to take part in two training sessions conducted by National Instructor Scott Martin. The Advantages of Biodiesel – A Technician's View training course provided attendees with a condensed version of the NAFTC's Overview of Biodiesel course. Scott Martin also performed a Smoke Opacity Test, demonstrating the cleaner combustion of biodiesel as compared to conventional petrol diesel fuel.
