National AFV Day Odyssey
National AFV Day Odyssey is a biennial event coordinated nationally by the NAFTC, dedicated to promoting the use of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles. Odyssey’s inaugural year in 2002 drew crowds from California to Connecticut with sites in 31 states nationwide. In 2004, Odyssey had nearly 25,000 attendees at 54 sites in 34 states while 24 million were reached through the media.
In 2006, National AFV Day Odyssey proved for the third time to be the largest one-day event promoting the use of alternative fuels and energy-efficient vehicles. Odyssey events were held throughout the country in 33 states, plus 2 sites in Canada and 1 in Germany. Nearly 40,000 attendees took part in activities such as ride-and-drives and educational seminars, while being provided with numerous networking opportunities. In addition, Odyssey’s message reached more than 30 million individuals through media coverage!
Please join us on Friday, October 3, 2008, at multiple locations nationwide as we again celebrate National AFV Day Odyssey. Together we can make a difference!
